There is no such thing as a free lunch, but we are happy to buy if you want to get together and discuss your big idea or how you are involved in making innovation happen. There are three purposes for this meeting:

  • We love to talk to people who are excited and engaged about building new ventures or helping existing ventures find their entrepreneurial spirit. It’s fun.
  • You can share your challenges and let us know what kind of help you might be looking for. We are happy to provide a listening ear and, if we have any ideas or contacts that could help, we will definitely share them.
  • You can ask us more about our services, what we do, and how we do it. We definitely like to talk about our business, but we promise that lunch will not be a high-pressure sales pitch or endless blather about how cool we are.

There are a couple of qualifications to this offer. First, serious inquiries only. Not that you have to be serious about engaging our services, but you have to be serious about innovation.

Second, we get to pick the restaurant or coffee shop (though we are happy to take recommendations). We will try to come up with a mutually convenient location (and coordinate on time). Outside of the Mohawk Valley¬†we may have limited availability due to travel time and costs, but we will find something that works. If you are uncomfortable discussing your challenges in public, we are also happy to meet at your offices or ours. And if a face-to-face really isn’t practical, we can always have a call or video chat.

This is not a legally binding offer to buy every entrepreneur on the planet lunch and we can refuse a request or cancel the whole thing at any time. But we hope for some great conversations and would like to make this a permanent part of staying in touch with the business owners, entrepreneurs, and folks invested in economic development in the region and beyond.
